    Xbox One S Console

Question: Xbox One S Console – Two questions: 1) Is wifi required for most games? 2) Does the xbox 360 controller & power brick work for xbox one?

    1) You require internet connection (WiFi or wired) to download and play XBox 360 backward compatible games (even if you have the installation disk) and digital XBox One games (including DLCs). For games that come on disk you need an internet connection to download the updates and then you can play the game offline.
    2) The peripherals and power brick from the XBox 360 are not compatible with the XBox One. Moreover, the XBox One S and the XBox One X do not have a power brick (the power supply is inside the console).

    1) Excluding multiplayer, some games require internet access. I believe they will say if that is the case. You will also need internet access for updates and whatnot. There is an Ethernet port for a wired connection if that would work better for you.

    2) From what I’ve read, no to the controller They’re incompatible. And the connection for the power supply is different. So no to both.

WiFi is required for everything! Don’t buy if you don’t have WiFi. Also no. Xbox one is all different from the 360.
