Question: Nintendo Switch Console – How is it handled when this product is received with pre-existing damage? There appears ro be an internal problem that prevents us from hooking it up
I have never heard of that issue. Are there any error codes? Does the unit work in handheld mode(not docked)? Honestly a call to Nintendo could help in some ways. There customer service is fantastic. However if you have to send the unit in you’re looking a 3 week turnaround to getting it back. I’m not sure how long Amazon will take. You’ll have to send it in and wait for them to receive it before a new unit is shipped. That may take less time.
