Yes recommended for children ages 6 and up
The aim of this console/handheld system is to appeal to both children and adults. Now the question is, which games to purchase and which games to avoid purchasing. The game ratings are written on game cases right in front if you’re not familiar, if you are familiar with the game rating system; you’re good. One other thing to note is that it does not have an internet search engine as it is mostly a gaming console, but streaming of Hulu and YouTube are a thing now via a downloadable app. So is it good or safe for a 7 year old? Answer is, yes! The 7 year old will have a lot of fun with the Nintendo switch and possibly for a long time going forward.
Yes, it’s good for kids and adults. All Nintendo games are made with kids in mind. But with the Switch, they’re able to take it portable and also be able to unite family during the Holidays. Mario odyssey, Mario kart and Mario party will be more tya than enough to keep everyone happy
Yes it is. As for any system it should be used under supervision. There are only a couple of games I know of that are not suitable for that age but that is what the rating system is for.
It’s an awesome gift for a cold that age! They’ll love the great games Nintendo had for the system such as Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Party for Switch and Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Plus for the parent’s sake most of the games Nintendo makes are kid friendly with a rating of either E or E10+.
